Our Aspiration
The Many Rivers Sanghas welcome all people to our community. We aspire to be a true refuge for all—honoring and embracing differences of skin color and race, national origins, culture, gender expression and identity, sexual orientation, differing physical or mental abilities, religion, and political affiliation. We vow to deepen our capacity to compassionately include everyone, understand differences, and transform dualistic thinking that harms or marginalizes people, by practicing stopping, calming, looking deeply, listening deeply, speaking lovingly, and letting go of notions. We will devote our time, energy and material resources to co-creating or supporting safe-enough healing spaces where those who come can experience faith and joy in the practice and take care of suffering.
“May whatever actions we undertake always be done for the welfare of beings.” Nagarjuna
